Glasgow East Women’s Aid (SC023938) are a charity and therefore rely on donations from all of you kind people out there to make our women and families’ days that bit brighter!

 

Financial Donations

All donations received to GEWA are used to provide vulnerable families with supplies, activities and trips as well as to provide for our service-wide events. For example:

£10

could provide a birthday gift and card for a resident child in our refuge.

£20

could provide a welcome pack for a new family.

£50

could provide:

• A trip to an outdoor or wildlife centre for 5 children.
• A visit to the cinema or bowling alley for 5 children.

£100

could provide:

• Help towards an annual TV licence.
• Help towards Christmas gifts for residents in refuge.
• Help towards taking children on a 5-day residential trip.

If you would like to consider fundraising for GEWA through hosting your own bake-off, karaoke night, sponsored walk/run or raising awareness of our cause, download our fundraising guide for ideas and info or contact us.

Practical donations

Although our storage space is limited, we do accept donations of NEW, UNOPENED toiletries to stock our shelves for women. Please contact us in advance of donating these items so that we can determine storage availability.

We also accept donations of supermarket vouchers, cinema/activity vouchers and beauty vouchers which we distribute to our women and families.
