About GEWA
Glasgow East Women's Aid (GEWA) is a registered charity: SCO23938 and is affiliated to Scottish Women's Aid.
GEWA offers the following services:
Training
We provide training and talks for community groups, statutory and voluntary agencies on issues associated with domestic abuse.
We provide training for local women who are interested in becoming involved with their local Women's Aid group.
Legal Services
We provide expert testimony on the effect of domestic abuse on women, children and young people to tribunals, children's panels and civil and criminal court.
Research
We collect information on the experiences of women, children and young people who have suffered abuse.
